What will a typical day
look like for my child?

Arrival and Circle Time - Where we sing songs, talk about the weather and how we are feeling
Games and Team Activities – Building, drawing, puzzles and more
Snack! Provided by us
Teacher Directed activity. Ex: Baking Apple Pies. The children cut and dress the apples, roll out and decorate the pie crust, and assemble their pie. Then get to take it home to bake and enjoy!
Body Break – Exercise, fresh air and movement
Lunch! Provided by the parent
Rest Time for those who need it / Quiet Games
Brain Break – Mindfulness
Child directed activity. Ex. Digging for dinosaur and rocks buried under the earth. Children are provided the materials and are given time to explore and ask questions. The teacher is close by for observation as well as to ask and/or answer questions.
Snack! Provided by us
Story time – A daily story linking our monthly theme and concepts that we are working on . The same book is read on back-to-back days. Once in English and once in French to help increase comprehension and vocabulary.

Social Development

Children will learn to respect, interact, share, participate and help each other learn and boost their self esteem

Language Development

Children will learn to express themselves, ask questions and gain vocabulary

Cognitive Development

Children will learn how to question and how to trust in themselves. They will learn that knowledge is power and focus on their successes

Physical Development

Children will learn to care for their bodies and their brains through gross and fine motor skill practice as well as mindfulness and stress reducing activities


Children will learn to find various solutions to problems

Critical thinking

Children will learn to question and look at the facts to find answers


Children will learn to work together as well as share information and skills

STEM Literacy

Using LEGO as our main learning tool, children will learn the basics of science, technology, engineering and math
