LESSON CONTENT

Our software offers step-by-step, highly comprehensive, interactive lessons with the help of which children will learn robotics, programming, engineering and math. Children will start learning robotics from simple mechanisms, will gradually deepen their knowledge and eventually will create, build and program the complex robot. Every lesson has a connection with the previous one to ensure deeper knowledge and consolidation of learned material. During each lesson students will solve the real problem, which requires the use of new knowledge, previously acquired skills, team work and personal creativity.

STEP 1 - PRESENTATION

Presentation - connection with the real world. Every robot has its own name, background and the situation in which it occurred is described. At this stage it is important to make students interested and involve them in the process.

STEP 2 - ASSUMPTION

We ask our students to make assumptions first. It is very important to involve them into thinking process. There isn’t only one ultimate true answer, several options of solving the task are possible. The main aim of this step is to teach students to observe the processes, analyze and make conclusions. Instead of giving them the correct answer we are developing logical reasoning.

STEP 3 - X-RAY

X-ray - understanding the processes. We show the model inside - as if using x-rays to explain how this or that function is implemented.

STEP 4 - BUILD

Build - the mechanical aspect. Every lesson students will build a new, unique model to test their theoretical knowledge in practice. They will make their own improvements in the hardware and software and will achieve even better results!

STEP 5 - PROGRAM

Visual programming. Only we, the creators, can decide what kind of operations the robot will perform. And we call it a software aspect. How do we program a robot to do something? Let’s learn together at this stage.

STEP 6 - TEST

Knowledge is always tested in practice. And here, at the last stage, we test our robot. If the students want, they can even improve their models. Also, at the end of each lesson we suggest to do a knowledge test. Remind your children to be proud of themselves, because every student will make a lot of discoveries, and everyone will create his own robot!
